Our Solid Waste Program provides waste collection, recycling, and disposal options for Guilford County residents. Staff investigate and address illegal burning and illegal dumping, oversee cleanup, perform landfill inspections, promote recycling education and opportunities, as well as research and provide options for future solid waste needs.

Our Scrap Tire and White Goods Facility at 2138 Bishop Road in Greensboro will be open on Saturday May 18, 2019.

Our next community recycling event will be April 13, 2019 from 8 to 2 at Eastern Guilford Middle School, 435 Peeden Drive, Gibsonville.  We will accept paper for shredding, tires, electronics and appliances.
