Interactive Waste Disposal Guide

Environmental Services oversees the county's Solid Waste Program which provides waste collection, recycling, and disposal options for Guilford County residents. Staff investigates and addresses illegal burning and illegal dumping, oversees cleanups, performs landfill inspections, promotes recycling education and opportunities, as well as researches and provides options for future solid waste needs.

Pleasant Garden Community Recycling Event!

Join us Saturday, March 14, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Garden Community Center (5024 Alliance Church Rd Pleasant Garden, NC). Accepting tires (Max 50 passenger tires or 10 heavy truck tires per household. No large equipment tires), appliances, electronics, including computers, televisions, microwaves, electronic games and toys, cell phones, Styrofoam (no peanuts), broken down cardboard and plastic bags, also accepting personal documents to be shredded (No More Than 5 file boxes per vehicle.) No business waste accepted.
