The Guilford County Continuum of Care (Guilford CoC) coordinates funding efforts by nonprofit providers, and State and local governments to quickly rehouse homeless individuals and families while minimizing the trauma and dislocation caused to homeless individuals, families, and communities by homelessness.

Local Emergency Solutions Grant RFA (FY 2026-2027)
The Guilford County Continuum of Care is accepting application for the Local FY 2026-2027 Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG). The Guilford County CoC will be allowed to apply for approximately $273,055 during this competition. Applications in response to the RFA must be submitted to the Collaborative Applicant/CoC Lead via Smartsheet by 5:00pm EST on Tuesday, July 7, 2026

All prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to attend one of the virtual technical assistance sessions below. The sessions are offered by the NC ESG Office. The sessions will review and discuss the 2026-27 ESG RFA.

Applications deadline is Tuesday, July 7, 2026, by 1:00pm EST via Smartsheet. All complete applications received by these deadlines will be reviewed. Late applications and/or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Applications submitted without all required supplemental documents is considered incomplete.
