FY 2026 HUD Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) Local Competition Applications are now being accepted

The NC-504 Continuum of Care Collaborative Applicant/CoC Lead has released the FY 2026 HUD NOFO Local Competition Notice. Finalized application information and additional documents can be found under the FY 2026 HUD NOFO Local Competition section.

The Guilford County Continuum of Care (Guilford CoC) coordinates funding efforts by nonprofit providers, and State and local governments to quickly rehouse homeless individuals and families while minimizing the trauma and dislocation caused to homeless individuals, families, and communities by homelessness.

The Guilford County Continuum of Care is accepting application for the Local FY 2026-2027 Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG). The Guilford County CoC will be allowed to apply for approximately $273,055 during this competition. Applications in response to the RFA must be submitted to the Collaborative Applicant/CoC Lead via Smartsheet by 5:00pm EST on Tuesday, July 7, 2026

ESG Program funding is administered by the state and is overseen by the NC ESG Office in the NC DHHS Division of Aging and Adult Services.
