Primary Election Early Voting
Early Voting begins for the November 3, 2026 General Election at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 15. Review the Early Voting Schedule page for details on locations and the daily schedule.
Our wait time calculator is currently unavailable while we work to address an issue. Wait times at most locations are approximately 30–60 minutes. This time will increase as we approach the October 31 end of Early Voting.
Check your registration status with our Voter Search Tool. The deadline to register to vote in North Carolina is 25 days before the General Election. However, view our state office's website for more information on how eligible residents can register in person during early voting.
Use the Voter Search Tool to view individual sample ballot information (search and select name, scroll down to Your Sample Ballot section). If the address on your voting record is not correct, contact our office at guilfordelections@guilfordcountync.gov or 336-641-3836 to request ballot information that applies to your new address.
In North Carolina, all Election Day polling places and early voting sites meet ADA accessibility requirements. Curbside voting is also available at every voting location.
Curbside voters are required to sign an affidavit affirming that, because of age or physical disability, they are unable to enter the voting place without physical assistance to cast their ballot. The voting process is otherwise the same as voting inside the polling place.
