Her last day with Guilford County is Friday, Sept. 5.

For the ninth consecutive year, the Guilford County Family Justice Center (FJC) will host Camp HOPE America – North Carolina, Guilford County, a nationally recognized, evidence-based camping and mentoring program for children impacted by violence and abuse.
The Guilford County Health and Human Services building, including Social Services, at 1203 Maple St. in Greensboro, is closed today due to a power outage. Residents can visit the Social Services office in High Point, located at 325 E. Russell Ave, or call 336-641-3000 for assistance. For Child Protective Services, residents can call 336-641-3795. For Adult Protective Services, residents can call 336-641-3137.
The Guilford County Division of Public Health encourages any seventh and twelfth graders, who have not yet received required vaccines, and parents and guardians to visit Greensboro and High Point clinic locations in August for required immunizations.
Guilford County Animal Services (GCAS) is participating in the nationwide Clear the Shelter campaign, a month-long pet adoption drive aimed at finding loving homes for animals in need.From Friday, Aug. 1, to Sunday, Aug. 31, GCAS will be offering reduced adoption fees for cats and dogs from $75 to $25.
