County Facility Delays and Closures

Due to anticipated precipitation patterns and expected overnight freezing rain from Winter Storm Fern, the following services and facilities will be affected.

• Animal Services - Will be closed Sunday, Jan. 25
• All general county services, operations, and facilities - Will be closed Monday, Jan. 26.

Essential life and public safety services will continue operations, including:

• Emergency Services
• Emergency Management
• Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
• Fire Marshal’s Office
• Sheriff's Office, Animal Control
• Designated Social Services functions 

Residents should call 9-1-1 for life-threatening emergencies. For non-emergencies in Greensboro, residents should call (336) 373-2222 and in High Point, (336) 883-3224. Residents requesting Adult and Child Protective Services can call 1-800-378-5315.
