The Guilford County Small Business and Entrepreneurship Department (SBED) and NC Cooperative Extension – Guilford County Center are partnering with the Triad Black Faith Leaders and Black Farmers Network to host the third annual Juneteenth Triad Farmers Market on Friday, June 19, at the Hayes-Taylor Memorial YMCA in Greensboro.

The Guilford County Small Business and Entrepreneurship Department (SBED) and NC Cooperative Extension - Guilford County Center are partnering with Triad Black Faith Leaders and Black Farmers Network, City of High Point, and East Greensboro NOW for the Sunday Farmers Market in High Point. The farmers market will be held on Sunday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mendenhall Station, 220 E. Commerce Avenue, High Point. 

The Guilford County Small Business and Entrepreneurship Department (SBED) is joining the Piedmont Triad Business Collaborative and community partners for the 2025 Piedmont Triad Business Collaborative Week, formerly known as Piedmont Triad MED Week. The annual event, from Monday, Oct. 27, through Sunday, Nov. 2, is a region-wide series of events designed to empower small businesses, facilitate networking, and spotlight economic opportunity across the Triad.

The farmers market will be held on Thursday, June 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature minority farmers offering fresh, locally grown produce and meat. The event will also showcase live music and performances, craft vendors, and local food trucks. There is no admission fee to attend the farmers' market.

Guilford County is proud to announce that Shaunne Thomas, Director of Small Business and Entrepreneurship, has been honored with the Thurgood Marshall Award at the 2025 Esther Awards by the Welfare Reform Liaison Project, Inc. (WRLP).
