The Guilford County Small Business and Entrepreneurship Department (SBED) and NC Cooperative Extension – Guilford County Center are partnering with the Triad Black Faith Leaders and Black Farmers Network to host the third annual Juneteenth Triad Farmers Market on Friday, June 19, at the Hayes-Taylor Memorial YMCA in Greensboro.
The free, family-friendly event takes place from noon to 6 p.m. at 2630 E. Florida St., and will celebrate Juneteenth through community engagement, local entrepreneurship, and agriculture. The farmers market will feature farmers offering fresh, locally grown produce, along with food trucks, craft and retail vendors, live music and performances, and DJ Precise. Attendees can also participate in raffles, a youth poster contest, youth activities, and a walkathon. Wild Irish Rose, radio personality, will serve as the host for the event.
The Triad Black Faith Leaders and Black Farmers Network are coordinating the event in association with Guilford County SBED and NC Cooperative Extension - Guilford County Center.
