The Guilford County Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health is alerting Guilford County residents that a raccoon on Huffine Ridge Drive in Gibsonville tested positive for the rabies virus on January 22, 2026. This is the fourth confirmed case of animal rabies in 2026.

Guilford County Animal Services will be setting up a booth and providing information about the shelter to 8th grade students during this career event.
Guilford County Animal Services will host this Mobile Pet Assistance Clinic (MPAC) where we will be providing both food and free 1-year vaccines to the public.
