Guilford County Animal Services (GCAS) is participating in the nationwide Clear the Shelter campaign, a pet adoption drive aimed at finding loving homes for animals in need.
From Tuesday, Aug. 18, to Monday, Aug. 31, GCAS is reducing adoption fees for all cats and dogs to $10. All adopted pets will be vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.
The Guilford County Animal Resource Center, located at 980 Guilford College Rd., in Greensboro, is open for pet adoptions daily from 12 to 4 p.m., excluding on Tuesdays. No appointments are needed. Residents can visit GuilfordCountyNC.gov/AdoptAPet to see the cats and dogs are available for adoption.
