In honor of Elder Abuse Awareness Month, Guilford County Social Services is hosting an Elder Abuse Awareness Resource Fair on Thursday, June 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held in the DSS parking lot at 1203 Maple St. in Greensboro.
The resource fair will feature more than 40 vendors and agencies serving aging adults and individuals. Attendees can access a wide range of resources, including free health screenings, mobile health units, and a variety of local food trucks.
The community event aims to raise awareness about elder abuse while promoting services and resources that support independence, safety, and well-being for older adults in Guilford County.
