Guilford County Parks and Recreation Aquatic Centers at Bur-Mil Park, Hagan-Stone Park, and Northeast Park will open on Memorial Day weekend. Pools will open weekends only from Saturday, May 23 through Sunday, June 7.
Memorial Day Weekend Schedule:
• Saturday, May 23: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Sunday, May 24: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• Monday, May 25: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Weekend-only Schedule:
• Saturday, May 30: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Sunday, May 31: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• Saturday, June 6: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Sunday, June 7: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Weather permitting, the aquatic centers will operate seven days a week beginning Saturday, June 13, through Sunday, Aug. 16.
Summer Seven-day Schedule:
• Monday through Friday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Sunday: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
“We’re excited to invite the community back for another fun-filled summer at the Guilford County Aquatic Centers,” said Dwight Godwin, Parks and Recreation Director. “With three pools and one big summer ahead, our aquatic centers are ready to welcome families, friends, and visitors for a season filled with fun, relaxation, and unforgettable memories. Whether you’re swimming laps, cooling off, or spending quality time together, there’s something for everyone at each of our facilities.”
All aquatic centers will revert to weekend-only hours starting Saturday, Aug. 22, through Monday, Sept. 7. The aquatic center at Bur-Mil Park will close early at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23 for swim meets. The aquatic center at Northeast Park will close early at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 3 for the annual Fireworks Extravaganza event.
All aquatic centers feature beach-entry, toddler slides, and spray features. Hagan-Stone Park features a 22-foot slide consisting of multiple turns, while Bur-Mil Park and Northeast Park feature diving boards. All facilities will observe special hours for county holidays and special events.
Admission is $6 for guests aged 13 and older, $5 for children 12 and under, and free for children under 2. Guests can save money by purchasing a 2025 Aquatic Center Discount Pass for $40. Discount passes will allow visitors 10-weekday entries into Bur-Mil Park, Hagan-Stone Park, or Northeast Park Aquatic Centers (excluding holidays). Passes can be purchased in person at the parks beginning Saturday, May 23.
Additional tips and information on aquatic centers:
• To avoid large crowds, guests are encouraged to visit during weekdays, non-peak hours. General admission reservations will not be accepted in advance.
• Pool party reservations are available Friday through Sunday from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. Please call Guilford County Parks at 336-641-PARK (336-641-7275) for availability.
• Summer camp and day care swim registrations are available for children 5 years and up. Visit GuilfordCountyNC.gov/Swim for more information.
• Concession stands are available at each aquatic center. Guests may bring coolers, but alcohol and glass containers are prohibited.
• Guests must adhere to staff directives and all aquatic center rules and procedures.
