The NC Cooperative Extension - Guilford County Center invites everyone to attend Celebrate Pollinators Day on Saturday, June 13, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Karen C. Neill Demonstration Garden, 3309 Burlington Rd., Greensboro.
The family-friendly event will celebrate the important role pollinators play in gardens and ecosystems while raising awareness about ways the community can help protect them. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about North Carolina’s native bees and other pollinators through educational exhibits and interactive activities. Visitors can also explore more than 15 gardens showcasing gardening ideas and pollinator-friendly practices.
Additional activities will include informative table displays, a make-your-own bee hotel activity, and the Extension Master Gardener℠ Passalong Plant Sale. Guests will also receive a goody bag and a free plant while supplies last.
