Guilford County
Oct 3, 2025

The Guilford County Division of Public Health is now offering appointments for the 2025-2026 seasonal influenza (flu) vaccine for anyone aged 6 months and older.

Appointments are available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the following locations:

  • 1100 E. Wendover Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405
  • 501 E. Green Drive, High Point, NC 27262

To schedule an appointment, please call 336-641-3245. When calling to schedule an appointment, please ensure that health insurance, Medicaid, Medicare or Medicare Supplement information is readily available.

Flu vaccinations are also available at pharmacies, private medical offices and some federally qualified health care centers. To find flu vaccines near you, visit vaccines.gov.

We are urging community members, both adults and children, with underlying health conditions to protect themselves and others by scheduling a flu appointment as soon as possible.

In addition to getting a flu vaccination, we also recommend the following infection-reducing measures:

  • Staying home when you are sick
  • Staying away from others who are sick
  • Getting enough rest to avoid becoming sick
  • Frequent handwashing
  • Avoiding high-risk activities such as crowded spaces
  • Consider masking during the peak of respiratory season

Respiratory virus surveillance data is published weekly by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) and influenza surveillance data is published weekly by the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
