The Guilford County Division of Public Health encourages any seventh and twelfth graders, who have not yet received required vaccines, and parents and guardians to visit Greensboro and High Point clinic locations in August for required immunizations.
North Carolina law requires all incoming seventh graders to receive a Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) vaccine and a MCV (Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine) by the start of their seventh-grade year. All incoming twelfth graders are required to receive a second dose of the MCV (Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine) by the start of their twelfth-grade year.
Any student may receive required immunizations by appointment at the following Guilford County Public Health clinic locations:
- High Point (501 East Green Drive, High Point)
- Greensboro (1100 East Wendover Avenue, Greensboro)
Please schedule your appointment by phone at 336-641-3245. Appointments for immunizations are available from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday from August 4 to August 29. Additionally, Guilford County Public Health will offer extended times on the following dates:
