The Guilford County Board of Commissioners have scheduled a series of budget town halls to be held on Tuesday, April 7, Wednesday, April 8, Friday, April 10, Tuesday, April 14, and Wednesday, April 15, at locations across the county. The meetings will begin at 5:30pm and will provide an overview of Guilford County’s programs and services available to residents, review the annual budget process and economic conditions impacting the FY 2026-27 budget, and offer an opportunity for input from community members.
Each session begins at 5:30 p.m. with the livability forum, followed by a Budget town hall and community input from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m.
At the livability forums, information will be shared on the Strategic Plan: Advancing Our Livability that will help guide decision-making and resource allocation. This plan provides a data informed roadmap for where the organization is headed and how it plans to make our community desirable through clearly defined goals. outcomes, strategies and activities.
