Virtual Training and Instructional Meeting Information

We appreciate your willingness to serve and assist our efforts to conduct efficient, fair, honest, and impartial elections for Guilford County. The next election is scheduled for November 5, 2024.

Election Day Training

Click here to review training videos for the November 5, 2024 general election (this link will open YouTube to view videos). Please note that viewing training videos is on a volunteer and for information basis; reviewing videos is not considered virtual training and is not paid training.

Once the training videos are accessed on YouTube, individuals may select "Play All" to view all available Election Day training videos. Or, if preferred, poll workers may select the individual videos by reviewing and accessing from the subject and content shown to the right of the YouTube screen.

A copy of the Precinct Officials Handbook can be found through this link. Paper copies of handbooks are provided at training as well as in the Blue Supply Bags that the Chief Judges retrieve from our office locations prior to Election Day.

INSTRUCTIONAL MEETING

In-person attendance at Instructional Meetings is required for the following election official positions: Chief Judges, Judges, and Election Day Specialists (EDS). Assistants are not required to attend the Instructional Meeting. The Instructional Meeting is on the above linked videos for review; however, viewing this meeting does not meet the in-person requirement to attend.

The required Instructional Meetings for the November 5, 2024 General election will be held the week of October 28. All election officials received a letter for the assigned date and location of their assigned instructional meeting.

Early Voting Training
