Rezoning Scam Alert

Guilford County has been made aware of a scam from a perpetrator misrepresenting themselves as the Guilford County Planning Board to residents and/or businesses currently in the process of rezoning properties, requesting payment to settle an invoice. In addition to requesting payment, the attachment in the email appears to be infected with some sort of malware.  

If you receive this email, do not click the attachment. Instead, report the email to your email provider as phishing, and delete the email.

Please note, the email originates from guilfordcountync.gov@usa.com and not from our office guilfordcountync.gov email address.
