The Guilford County SBED department is designed to promote local business opportunities in the county’s contracting and procurement process for businesses headquartered in the county’s Combined Statistical Area.
The Guilford County SBED program provides benefits for both the county and the business community in our region. Participation in the program helps the county increase its contracting opportunities with SBED companies, resulting in greater job availability and business growth for the local business community. In addition to contributing to the economic well-being of the region, bringing new small businesses into the pool of companies doing business with the county enhances the county’s competitive bidding processes and allows the county to track its spending with SBED firms.
