Early Voting Begins Thursday, October 16 for Municipal General Election

The Guilford County Board of Elections is sharing that the in-person, early voting period for the November 4, 2025 Municipal General Election will begin on Thursday, October 16, starting at 8 a.m. at the Old Guilford County Courthouse in Greensboro.  Five other sites will open for voting on Thursday, Oct. 23.  The final day of early voting for all sites will be Saturday, Nov. 1, at 3 p.m.

Only registered voters who live within the municipalities of Greensboro, Jamestown, Burlington, Gibsonville, Oak Ridge, Pleasant Garden, Kernersville, Sedalia, Stokesdale, Summerfield, Whitsett, and the Sedgefield Sanitary District are eligible to vote in this Municipal Election. 

Precincts will also be open on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Jamestown Town Hall, opening Thursday, Oct. 23

Brown Recreational Center, opening Thursday, Oct. 23
302 E. Vandalia Road, Greensboro, NC 27410

Lewis Recreation Center, opening Thursday, Oct. 23

Residents can request absentee ballots now for the upcoming election. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Tuesday, Oct. 21.
