Guilford County Veterans Services invites veterans, community organizations, and residents to attend an upcoming information session to learn about the Guilford County Veterans Advisory Committee.
The information session will be held Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the N.C. Cooperative Extension – Guilford County Center, 3309 Burlington Road, Greensboro.
The nine-member committee will advise the Board of County Commissioners and offer recommendations to better address the needs of veterans and their families throughout Guilford County.
The session will provide an overview of the committee, including its proposed purpose, member roles, and responsibilities. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions, share feedback and offer recommendations concerning the activation of the committee and the veteran community’s priorities.
