Guilford County Animal Services is partnering with Greensboro Shrub to host an outdoor adoption event.
Staff, with help from our Dog Day Out volunteers, will bring a selection of adoptable dogs into the community to meet potential adopters and enjoy time outside the shelter environment. Approved adopters will have the opportunity to complete adoptions on-site.
An onsite vendor will be offering free food and beverages for guests to enjoy during the event.
Guilford County Animal Services will host a black-tie-themed adoption event celebrating adoptable black cats and dogs on Thursday, June 4, at the Guilford County Animal Resource Center.
The “Black Tail Adoption Event” will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the animal shelter, 980 Guilford College Road, Greensboro.
Community members are encouraged to dress up for the event and help spotlight black pets, which are often overlooked in shelters. Attendees also can enjoy ice cream from Alsies of the Triad.
Our Pawfessors Corey and Amanda will be educating the public on everything they need to know when adopting a shelter pet.
We have sponsorships that will cover $25 of your adoption fee when you attend! You will receive a certificate at the end of the class.
This event will be hosted in the Education Center and is open to the public.
