NCDOT Intercity Bus Program

The North Carolina Department of Transportation’s (NCDOT’s) Intercity Bus program serves Greensboro, offering regional and long-distance travel across North Carolina and beyond. NCDOT’s Intercity Bus Network consists of 13 routes with over 50 stops throughout the state. Service is operated by Greyhound Lines and Sunway Charters. The service operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Buses are ADA accessible and include restroom facilities.

The Greensboro Intercity Bus stop is located at J. Douglas Galyon Depot, 234 A East Washington St, Greensboro, NC and can be accessed via several GTA routes and TAMS reservation services.

Greensboro is along two subsidized Intercity Bus Routes: the Piedmont Pass Intercity Bus Route and the Triad-Danville Connector.
In addition to the two Subsidized Bus Routes that stop in Greensboro, there are several unsubsidized Intercity Bus Routes and service providers that also stop in Greensboro, which connect riders to several destinations inside and outside North Carolina.
