Voucher Program Update

Thank you all so much for your support and interest in the program. The Spay/Neuter Voucher Program for Fiscal Year 2026 has closed. We will re-open the program in July of 2026 for Fiscal Year 2027. If you are still in need of a voucher, please re-apply when the program re-opens in July 2026. 

Terms and Conditions

To participate in the Spay/Neuter Voucher Program, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. I understand that I must present my voucher and a valid ID or proof of Guilford County residency at the time of voucher redemption. This voucher can only be issued to and used by pet owners who are residents of Guilford County. The application must list their Guilford County address. A photo ID with proof of address is required, or an ID and municipal bill stating the Guilford County address if the ID does not have the resident's Guilford County address on it.
2. I understand that this voucher is for assistance with the spay/neuter of one animal with a limit of one animal per household per fiscal year from July 1 to June 30. Any attempt to circumvent this policy will result in permanent loss of eligibility for this program.
3. Guilford County Animal Services Spay/Neuter Vouchers will only cover a portion of the pet's spay/neuter visit. The remaining cost of these procedures as well as any additional veterinary care requested or provided by the clinic, will be the responsibility of the owner.
4. The pet owner is responsible for any charges which exceed the value of the voucher. The pet owner is responsible for getting an estimate prior to leaving the pet for surgery and for making any required payment arrangements with the clinic.
5. Vouchers are only valid at clinics approved by Guilford County Animal Services for the Guilford County Spay/Neuter Program. An approved clinic list will be provided once the application has been accepted.
