On Wednesday, June 18, the Guilford County Board of Commissioners voted to adopt a $847.3 million General Fund budget for the Fiscal Year 2025-2026.
The first of three budget town halls and community resource fairs scheduled for today, Monday, March 31 has been postponed due to the threat of severe weather. The event, originally set to take place at Claxton Elementary School from 5:30 to 8 p.m., will be rescheduled. Updates on a new date will be published on guilfordcountync.gov/budget-town-halls.The budget town hall and community resource fair scheduled for Tuesday, April 1, at Jamestown Elementary School will continue as planned.

The Guilford County Board of Commissioners voted to adopt a $833.7 million budget for the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 on Thursday, June 20, 2024. The Board of Commissioners’ adopted budget maintains the current property tax rate of 73.05₵ per $100 while funding the county’s mandated essential core services, investing in public and higher education, and supporting workforce and economic development.
