The Board of County Commissioners Chair Melvin “Skip” Alston presented his 2024 State of Guilford County Address to highlight the county’s recent achievements from the past year and upcoming plans to enhance service delivery. Under the theme "Ready, Set, Go!,” the Chair’s report to the community emphasized the county’s preparedness for continued growth, its focus on strategic planning, and the action taken to better serve and support residents.
