The Guilford County Veterans Services office will be closed on the following dates.

The Guilford County Veterans Services Office assists eligible Veterans, their dependents and/or surviving spouses, children of deceased veterans, helpless Children, members of the Reserves or National Guard in applying for benefits and services from the Department of Veterans Affairs and North Carolina Department of Military & Veterans Affairs (NCDVMA), reviewing and following up on decisions of the Department of Veterans Affairs for fairness and accuracy; and writing and submitting appeals to the Board of Veterans Appeals for disputed decisions.
- Direct access to Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS) Ability to assist Veterans while viewing their historic claims and any medical information used to make a decision on individual claims. This is only for Veterans we have a Power of Attorney for all other we will have to contact the VA Regional Office.
- Assistance in obtaining military records from the National Military Records Center
- Assistance in obtaining official documents from the Register of Deeds, Vital Records and Clerk of Court.
- Helping homeless Veterans with obtaining military paperwork, employment assistance, medical care and transportation.
These services are always "Free" to the Veteran and their dependents.
