Guilford County Division of Public Health Primary Care will host an open house event providing no-cost screenings for the community from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 2. All screenings are open to the public and will take place at the Guilford County Division of Public Health Primary Care clinic located at 501 East Green Drive in High Point.
Services will include no-cost, confidential testing for HIV, syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and Hepatitis B and C. Screenings will include blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), and blood sugar levels.
“Prevention and early detection are key to improving health outcomes,” said Courtney McFadden, Guilford County Public Health Director. “This open house provides an opportunity for community members to receive no-cost screenings for important health indicators and sexually transmitted infections in a supportive and welcoming environment. Knowing your health numbers can make a critical difference in preventing illness and building a healthier community.”
Advance registration is encouraged but not required—walk-ins are welcome the day of the open house.
