Guilford County Veterans Services is pleased to invite veterans, community organizations, and residents to attend an upcoming information session to learn about the Guilford County Veterans Advisory Committee.
The Advisory Committee will provide an opportunity for veterans, veterans organizations, community partners, and other stakeholders to share their knowledge, experience, and recommendations regarding the needs of veterans and their families in Guilford County.
The purpose of this session is to:
- Provide an overview of the proposed Guilford County Veterans Services Advisory Committee
- Explain the anticipated purpose, role, and responsibilities of the Advisory Committee vs a community-led Council model
- Receive input and recommendations from the veteran's community
