The Guilford County Board of Commissioners will hold a series of budget town hall meetings and livability forums to hear from the community about the fiscal year 2026-27 county budget and proposed strategic plan. There will be five sessions held from early to mid-April at different locations throughout the county.
Each session begins at 5:30 p.m. with the livability forum, followed by a county budget overview and community input from 6:15 to 8 p.m.
Before the town halls, residents can engage with county staff to learn about the proposed strategic plan called “Advancing Livability.”
During the budget town halls, residents can learn about the yearly budget process, see how economic conditions affect it, and share their thoughts on budget priorities.
