The Guilford County Health and Human Services Agency – Department of Public Health will host a drop-in community forum on changes to local well rules on September 22 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Guilford County Center (3309 Burlington Road, Greensboro).
The forum will provide residents with information about the changes to county private drinking water well rules and help the community understand what the changes mean for private well owners.
Residents, private well owners, property owners, well contractors and other interested community members are encouraged to attend. Department of Public Health staff will be available throughout the forum to explain the revised rules, answer questions, share information and discuss next steps.
Residents who are unable to attend the forum may visit the Guilford County website for additional information and to submit comments by September 30.
