Low-Income Homeowner Assistance Grant Program

Program Overview

On March 27th, 2026, the Guilford County Board of County Commissioners approved the Department of Social Services to launch a grant program to provide support to low-income homeowners in Guilford County.

Grant funding will be provided to qualifying homeowners to help address the rising costs of owning a home and the impact on low-income homeowners. Applicants who meet the criteria listed below will be eligible for a one-time grant payment paid directly to the homeowner.
