Join Guilford County’s Small Business and Entrepreneurship Department (SBED) for Directors and Donuts, a casual, conversation-based series designed to connect small business owners directly with County leadership. This session features Shaunne Thomas, Executive Director of SBED, who will share insights on small business support, access to public contracting opportunities, and how local businesses can better engage with county resources.
This free, monthly workshop is designed to help small business owners build confidence in managing their finances and making informed business decisions. Participants will gain practical guidance on understanding key financial concepts, improving cash flow, and strengthening their business for long-term growth and sustainability.
In recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, Guilford County Social Services is hosting a "Beyond Age" Community Event on Friday, June 13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their Greensboro location located on 1203 Maple St.
