In addition to Public Health and Social Services, Craver also oversees departmental efforts in Behavioral Health, Child Support and Court Services, Family Justice Center, Integrated Services, Juvenile Detention, Veterans Services, and the Continuum of Care.

Craver is a native of Guilford County; she was born and raised in Greensboro and graduated from Grimsley High School. She holds a bachelor’s degree in human services and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. In May 2022, she completed Howard University’s Roll Away the Stone Leadership Certificate Program.

In April 2024, Craver became Deputy Director of DHHS for Guilford County. She has more than 15 years of experience working with local and federal government and nonprofit organizations. Her experience includes health and human services, housing, and child welfare, having served with multiple local government agencies throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Prior to joining Guilford County, she served as the Deputy Director for the Office of Thriving Families at the D.C. Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA). Craver led the agency's primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention strategies in partnership with community-based organizations and sister agencies across the D.C.’s health and human services cluster. Craver and her team were responsible for the writing and implementation of the nation’s first federally approved five-year prevention plan, Putting Families First in D.C., and the agency’s work to transform the District from a child welfare system to a child and family well-being system.

She is excited by the opportunity to bring her extensive knowledge and experience in public administration back to her hometown.
