The October 7, 2025, Municipal Primary is open only to residents of Greensboro and Jamestown municipalities. Visit our General Election Early Voting page for more information about early voting for the November 4, 2025, election.

General Voting Information

In-person voting on Election Day is by assigned precinct and polling location. You can find your precinct before an election by by using the Voter Search Tool. Assigned precinct polling locations are open for voting on election days from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The residency deadline was October 6, 2024. Existing Guilford County registered voters that moved on or before October 6 but have not updated their address may go to the new precinct voting location based on their new, current address. These voters will simply complete an address change to ensure they receive the correct districts on their ballot for their current residence. If a voter has not updated their registration address and needs to know the assigned polling location for their new address, email guilfordelections@guilfordcountync.gov or call 336-641-3836, and provide new address.
