Superheroes for HOPE
By: Catherine Johnson
The Family Justice Center held a fall scavenger hunt with Camp HOPE program participants in October. Many FJC partner agencies including the Sheriff’s Office, High Point Police Department, Greensboro Police Department, Clerk of Court, Family Service of the Piedmont, Kellin Foundation, and Children’s Law Center participated in the event, which included lots of treats and games.
We are starting the process of recruiting youth volunteers for our 2020 camp season. If you know of a young adult age 17-24 who loves to work with children and would be interested in making a difference in the lives of children impacted by domestic violence, let us know. Please contact, Hannah Mould, FJC Child Trauma Specialist at firstname.lastname@example.org, for more info!
