Under his leadership, The Guilford County DWI Task Force maintained an average 978 impaired driving arrests per year for the last 6 years, more than any other enforcement Task Force in the state. Sgt Wallace also helped make the team become more proactive in DWI prevention work by adding a traffic safety educator to the enforcement team, to assist in building robust community partnerships, becoming the first in the nation with a designated educator in 2014.

Sheriff Rogers is proud of Sgt. Kevin Wallace for his commitment to keeping the Guilford County safe and thanks him for his excellent work and leadership with the DWI Task Force.
