Free Blood Pressure Checks! Keep Your Heart, Brain and All Your Body Systems Safe (Health Information)
High blood pressure can cause heart attacks, strokes and kidney failure. Most people do not have symptoms before their body is damaged. Guilford County Public Health has two clinical sites (medical homes) that welcome everyone to check their blood pressure for free. Free blood pressure checks are available every Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at 1100 E. Wendover Avenue in Greensboro or 501 East Green Drive in High Point. No appointment is needed.
For your convenience, and as a personal reminder to see a medical provider, your blood pressure is recorded on a wallet size card.
Health Department staff reminds all residents to keep your heart, brain and all your body systems healthy through diet, exercise, stress management and blood pressure control.
